When you visit Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and you are tired of long hot bus and walking tours, why not try something easier, more enjoyable and infinitely more memorable. Meet the Author and discover Saigon is an Airbnb Experience I have designed specifically with the needs of my guests in mind.
**
1. NO BUS travel. The experience happens in the heart of old Saigon (district 1).
2. NO WALKING. It is too hot or too wet to be enjoyable.
3. The weather cannot effect the experience. It happens inside ONE building. The whole experience is air conditioned.
4. I follow no written script. Therefore, every experience is unique. (It is NOT a lecture or a class - much more fun!)
5. You, my guest will join in. For example, you will have an opportunity to play History Detective. You have to find something very old. You will learn about the history of old Saigon via self-discovery learning (no memory need :).
6. I want my guests to have a memorable experience. The type of traveling experience that you will chat about many years later.

The experience in brief:
~ We meet at the meeting point.
~ We go up to the Saigon Skydeck - the 360 degree view allows us access to old Saigon (most of it is hidden at street level). Here we play History Detective.
~ We go down to a coffee shop in the same building. While sipping coffee we discover how the old 'thing' you found during History Detective fits into my story and fitted into Saigon's and Vietnam's history.

NEXT WEEK'S blog: I explore Ho Chi Minh City looking for trace's of old Saigon and Gia Dinh (what Saigon was called before the French arrived). I am looking forward to sharing more of my adventures with you.
